When a friend comes to call on 4 heroes to save a loved one, the strangers must face their inner demons - and the call of their blood - and venture into the Blood Domain, where the Vampire rule supreme...

Creeping Death: complete story arc

3 heroes: the rogue Li, the warlock Enessa, and the bard Malice, become embroiled in an investigation of a series of brutal and macabre murders. The port city of Mendulia’s Rock will not be the same. This is the 1st of 4 episodes in “The Creeping Death” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel June 2, 2023.

The search for a murderer leads the heroes into death’s lair and into a faceoff against a monster of a different kind. This is the 2nd of 4 episodes in “The Creeping Death” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel June 9, 2023.

When the mystery deepens, the heroes turn to familiar faces and rest in the comfort of home. The forces of a relentless enemy threaten the innocence of the night. This is the 3rd of 4 episodes in “The Creeping Death” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel June 16, 2023.

In the final throws against enemies from within and without, the 3 heroes take a final stand against a murderer in the bowels of the city. Will they be enough against an enemy that controls Death itself? This is the 4th of 4 episodes in “The Creeping Death” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel June 23, 2023.

The Mage Discordance: complete story arc

In the ice-hewn archipelago Magocracy of Nu, Isa the wiloi scholar will be tasked with finding a fabled artifact that may save the world. She will unite with 3 strangers: a karevi priest, an urakian mercenary, and a harengon thief, in a quest that will question everything she knows. 

This is the 1st of 3 episodes in “The Mage Discordance” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel July 7, 2023.

The 4 would-be thieves make their way into the Island of Nu, the capital of the Magocracy, in search of the Mage Discordance. A mystical door, cleverly-spoken lies, a clash for swords, and the walking dead will mark this step of their journey as the item they seek has a trick of its own… This is the 2nd of 3 episodes in “The Mage Discordance” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel July 14, 2023.

In a long-forgotten world, and with little choice, the heroes face a dark past that caused the disappearance of the sun. Will the Mage Discordance return them home, or will their souls be hunted and destroyed? This is the 3rd of 3 episodes in “The Mage Discordance” Arc, and was originally aired on the La Notte Eterna Twitch channel July 28, 2023.

La Notte Eterna 5e su Kickstarter: grande successo

Quando (ormai 12 anni fa!) pubblicavo la prima edizione de La Notte Eterna for 5e - manualoni di gioco e narrativa dark epic fantasy - non immaginavo che molto tempo dopo il progetto avrebbe preso il volo, raggiungendo oltre 60,000 euro e centinaia di lettori da ogni parte del mondo in appena un mese. 

Questo traguardo è stato reso possibile innanzitutto grazie a mio fratello maggiore, Steven Forbus, che ha sempre creduto nella mia penna e immaginazione. Senza il suo aiuto e il suo talento creativo e tecnico, non sarei mai riuscito a presentare il progetto come meritava realmente. 

Devo ringraziare tutti gli amici, e siete davvero tantissimi tra Italia, Stati Uniti, Europa e resto del mondo per aver supportato il progetto, per aver giocato insieme, per aver reso tutto questo possibile. Avete un posto nel mio cuore e nel mondo di Neir, e lo sapete bene! 

E un gigantesco grazie anche alla mia famiglia per le tante giornate spese a finire un capitolo, scrivendo in maniera "matta e disperatissima", per costruire i mondi che compongono il vasto universo di Nebvarasa.
